About me
since 1999
I have been teaching English since 1999, and Polish (as a foreign language) since 2006. I have also inspired hundreds of undergraduate students to research topics related to applied language studies and foreign-language teaching methodology.
When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading science-fantasy books, making electronic music, experimenting with retro-computers and playing with my trilingual daughter.
Mission
Current objectives
As a foreign language teacher, I always give top priority to helping my students achieve their communicative goals. With each new teaching objective, I make progress so that my new students may benefit from my experience. I rely on the most recent research and dedicated technological solutions to optimise your learning experience, but I never forget about the fun aspect of teaching, either. I promote the idea of life-long learning for permanent effects.
Vision
The future
My life is a pursuit of more eclectic and synergetic means of learning and teaching foreign languages. Armed with decades of research and having amazing and affordable technologies at our disposal, teachers can make a difference in bringing people of the world closer to one another and bridging cultural gaps. I also believe that Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) needs clear standards and comprehensive systems rather than just tools, multimedia products and teaching aids.

I offer online classes using the renowned LearnCube platform optimised for foreing language education.
While teaching English, I rely on course books and materials published by, among others, Oxford University Press, Cambridge University Press and Macmillan Education, although I frequently add my own customised materials, including multimedia content and real-life examples.
While teaching Polish, I usually recommend the Hurra!!! Po polsku series, enhanced with my own materials and personalised content.

There are numerous software solutions and tools that can be used to teach and learn various subjects online. Personally, I recommend the LearnCube platfrom custom-tailored for foreign-language education. It has been integrated with a plethora of materials from Oxford University Press (OUP) and I have been working on the supplementary materials for teaching Polish inspired by the Hurra!!! Po polsku series.
